FALL 2008
The Owners Association continues to favorably look at an SSD proposal.
Additional information from former PMROA President Scott Boyle, the County Attorney and owner comments has brought us to an alternative proposal. For those who've been following the discussion, the new "flat tax" changes in the proposal, as well as the addition of lower Forest Meadow Drive are in red. This proposal eliminates the inherent inequity in the Utah tax rate for primary and secondary homeowners and will share the costs of these access roads equally amongst all owners within Tollgate Canyon.

Fall has come to the Ranch
Some reminders for fall in the mountains:
Some reminders for fall in the mountains:
- Remember that driving conditions around the Ranch will be variable, at best.
- Culverts need to be cleaned out. If you have a driveway culvert, it is your responsibility to maintain it. There are too many drainages on the ranch for Jody to get to them all and clogged culverts are a cause for much of our spring road repairs.
- Trailers need to be removed from the Ranch. Camp trailers and RVs are not allowed on the Ranch for the winter, and should be removed while the driving conditions are better.
- On the brighter side, we've probably passed our biggest fire danger for the year without incident. Thanks to everyone for your attention to safety.
- The winter parking lots will be available soon for storage. The lot with the maintenance building is for winter-long storage of snow machines, trailers cats etc. The lower lot is for short-term use. Park there for the weekend or have your guests park there. Please do NOT park there long-term, as it prevents Jody from plowing. The upper meadow, above the parking lots, is NOT for storage or parking for any period of time. It is being re-vegetated for non-motorized use.
Short Term Cabin Rentals:
Over the last 2 years, the Homeowners' Association has received a flood of complaints about weekend cabin rentals. These visitors frequently have little regard for the rules and etiquette of the Ranch. Remember that Short Term Cabin Rentals (less than 30 days) are Prohibited by Pine Meadow Ranch Owners' Association. See Rules and Regulations 5.6.
