New Rental Rules and a Request for Community Input

Dear Owners:

The Pine Meadow Ranch Home Owners Association (PMRHOA) is proposing the implementation of a new “Rule and Regulation” that deals specifically with both short-term and long-term rentals within the boundaries of the Association. The PMRHOA board has approved the new “Rule and Regulation” and we are now seeking input from owners. 

A previous effort to disallow short-term rentals sparked controversy during attempts to modify our CC&Rs some years ago.  However, it is important to note that Utah Code prevents the HOA from prohibiting owners from establishing rentals unless explicitly stated in our CC&Rs. Nevertheless, Utah Code also grants the HOA the authority to regulate rental operations within the community and mandate that owners ensure their tenants adhere to all the "Rules and Regulations" that owners themselves are obligated to follow

We will accept comments over the next 15+ days, beginning July 15, 2023 and until 5:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2023.  Please review the proposed rule with this LINK.
